Saucy Sesame Ginger Broccoli

So long boring steamed broccoli. This sauce is full of fresh flavors - sesame + ginger bring it again. Simply steam + pour over the delicious simple sauce. Serve hot with hot sauce on the side.


You will say YES to a second serving of vegetables.


Make sure to have these ingredients in your pantry for future needs over vegetables - and over noodles, rice + chicken too!



Saucy Sesame Ginger Broccoli


2 large broccoli florets, trimmed + cut into bite sized pieces

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 heaping tablespoons fresh ginger, minced

1 garlic clove, minced

1 tablespoon sesame seeds

1 teaspoon fish sauce

2 tablespoons honey

3 tablespoons coconut aminos

1/2 teaspoon hot sauce (or more)


Steam the broccoli florets in a saucepot with a steamer over boiling water - for 4-6 minutes.


Meanwhile, in a small sauce pot, combine the remaining ingredients + bring to a boil over high heat. Turn heat to low + simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from the heat + let cool slightly.


When ready to serve, pour the sauce over the broccoli. Serve at once.
