My Favorite Quick Thai Steak Marinade

Marinades are tricky. You either have to totally prepare and have it do it for hours and hours (heck, even 24 hours) or you don't remember and pull it together last minute - like salt and pepper.

This combination is full of flavor, spice, salt, GINGER and GARLIC. I mean, all the best flavors in one. It's always going to be good!

So, make sure you have these ingredients in your pantry, so the next time you forget to marinade you have THIS! A quick mix and then pour over your steak (or chicken). Let sit for 15 minutes and grill away.

My Favorite Quick Thai Steak Marinade

1/4 cup coconut aminos

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon fish sauce

1 tablespoon honey

2 tablespoon tamari

1 garlic clove, minced

2 pinches red pepper flakes

1 heaping teaspoon fresh ginger, minced

1 small red sweet pepper, sliced

juice of 1 lime

1 pinch of salt (more if needed or desired)

Mix everything together in a small mixing bowl. Lay your meat on a rimmed plate or baking pan. Add marinade and flip the met over so the marinade gets on all sides of it. Let sit at least 15 minutes - at room temperature on the counter. (*Can be left for over an hour in the refrigerator!

Remove from marinade and cook using your preferred method!
